The young person is 16 years old and entering our Youth Transitional Tenancy Program. They have experienced significant instability over the past 12 months, including a period of homelessness following a breakdown in family relationships. During this time, they were also involved in a domestic violence relationship, which has had a considerable impact on their safety and wellbeing.
Despite these challenges, the young person remains engaged in education and is currently attending school. They are seeking stable, supportive accommodation through the transitional program to continue building independence, recover from trauma, and work towards longer-term goals in a safe and nurturing environment.
