Single mother who is deaf and speaks Somalian with 4x children under 6 have recently moved to Melbourne after fleeing family violence interstate.
They are currently experiencing homelessness, are in emergency accommodation (EA) and are waiting for housing. Due to the current housing crisis, there is uncertainty around how long the family will remain in EA.
Mum is currently on a sole Centrelink income and is unable to afford to provide her children age appropriate toys/sports equipment to support her children's learning, play, growth and development and to keep her children stimulated whilst in EA.
Mum is looking to fund some items such as scooters, bikes, soccer balls and/or toys and books for her children.
