This kind and caring Aunt has entered into a family arrangement to care for her niece and nephew, the youngest siblings in a large family. The children were placed in her care with the support of DCJ due to their parents’ struggles with addiction and domestic violence. Both children have disabilities and require additional support and commitment.
The initial shock of taking on the care of two children has had a financial impact on the household. The family has requested assistance with purchasing a television and gaining access to the internet to support the children's development and wellbeing.
Additionally, they are seeking support to obtain two single bed bases and mattresses for the children.
