A resilient mother and her four young children have recently relocated from Far North Queensland to escape severe domestic and family violence. The family is currently residing in a DFV refuge in the Moreton Bay region while they focus on recovery, healing, and rebuilding their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
Mum is actively engaging in support services and working toward long-term stability, including securing a larger, more permanent home for her family. As part of their transition, she is hoping to access activities and resources that will help her children feel connected, safe, and welcomed in their new community.
She is particularly seeking opportunities that promote social inclusion, outdoor play, and community engagement in both the Moreton Bay and Brisbane areas. Access to items such as recreational passes, and family-friendly activities would greatly assist in supporting their ongoing wellbeing and integration into the community.
