A single mother has recently been diagnosed with leukaemia and is currently recovering from a bone marrow transplant. Her recovery has been complicated by graft-versus-host disease, which has made day to day life extremely challenging. Despite her own health struggles, she is caring for her five young children and doing everything she can to keep life stable and normal for them.
Because she has been unable to work during treatment and recovery, the family is under significant financial pressure. She is seeking assistance with grocery vouchers to help ensure her children have consistent access to healthy meals during this difficult period.
