Recipient story

A refugee family of 5 facing difficulties in their settlement process in ACT.
GIVIT
Ready to Learn
This Afghan family moved to Australia last year and they are facing financial hardship, difficulties of transition to a new society/culture, loneliness in the verge of a new life for all family members, As a not-for-profit settlement service provider, we try to ease the difficulties in their lives.

The family has two toddlers and accidently they broke the TV they have received from supporting organisation. With very limited social connections, TV becomes an important source of fun time. Also, the father tries to improve his skills via computer course and even if he uses a laptop during the lessons he needs one to practice at home to learn more quickly.
