Our service is working with an Aboriginal mother who has 8 children, 2 of which are primary school aged. Her partner is currently incarcerated and she is struggling to ensure her children have Christmas gifts from their parents this year. She cares for her adult daughter with mental health and unable to work. Her young children are in OOHC and not placed with family so she wants to provide for them as best she can within her limited means.
