Seeking assistance to purchase essential items to make her feel more comfortable during her terminal cancer treatment. The woman is aged 52 and has a long history of homelessness (since her teenage years) and has successfully sustained her first tenancy for 3 years. She is a survivor of complex trauma, experiencing childhood sexual abuse, severe domestic/family violence and sexual assault.
She has been thriving in her recovery from substances and accessing supports for the past two years, however, has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She has just finished radiation and is about to start chemotherapy with a life expectancy with treatment of less than a year.
