Aged person struggling financial needs help with food
GIVIT
81yr old gentleman recently discharged from hospital after knee replacement - complex recovery, on going issues with swelling and pain. Struggling with his depression and financial stressors. only on aged pension. also has diabetes needs to eat correct health foods. He would like to be able to order meals to be delivered that suit his dietary requirements but unfortunately he cannot afford this.
Assistance with food vouchers to allow him to buy some fresh fruit and vegetables and some ready healthy meals as suggested by dietician from the shop.
If some vouchers are provided this would relieve some of the financial strain on this gentleman and allow him to concentrate on his recovery. Coles vouchers would be the preference if possible.
