29 year old First Nations female experiencing long term homelessness for the last 12 months as a result of a family breakdown. This young female has been staying at hostels, women's refuges, couch surfing and rough sleeping through severe weather conditions due to having no secure or stable accommodation. While navigating long term homelessness she continued to pursue her higher education studies in health, however has had to defer due to her homelessness impacting her ability to study and the multitude of impacts on her physical and mental health. She has been unable to access any welfare benefits due to having no ID and issues obtaining the documentation necessary. This young female requires financial aid to purchase basic necessities, groceries and clothing. She is determined to stabilise her living situation and continue her studies to improve her overall wellbeing and future.
