Single mother with autistic child & limited income.
GIVIT
In 2017, this women arrived to Australia with her ex-partner & gave birth to her son in 2018. The child is autistic & non-verbal, but has such a lovely character. in 2020, they had to flee the relationship due to significant physical (being threatened with a knife) & verbal abuse, isolation & financial abuse. She has been the only support for her son & does all that she can to make sure that he remains safe & loved, despite ongoing VISA issues & only working part-tine. She has limited supports & no family here in Australia.
She would like to help her son read & write & has requested a study table for him.
Her son is nearly 7 & enjoys reading & writing & looking at pictures. A study table can be used beneficial for him to further improve his writing, reading & other motor skills.
