A single mother of two teenaged sons with special needs has become homeless again in this extremely difficult housing climate. The family lost their long-term rental home in the 2022 floods, and then their next home and all of their belongings in a house fire. They are currently needing help with covering some essentials, as they’ve lost their housing once again and are staying in alternative style temporary housing, and facing extreme financial difficulty while trying to get back on their feet with more stable housing.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
