17 year old unable to carry out normal bodily functions- not able to eat, toilet walk for more than a few steps
GIVIT
17 year old girls as a result of having long covid young person has developed severe Dysautonomia, severe Oesophageal & Gastric dysmotility, severe bowel Dysmotility, Neurogenic Bladder, Severe dysfunction of her cardiovascular system, severe fatigue, severe intolerance to sensory stimuli and post traumatic stress disorder.
Young person had been in hospital now for 3 years however went home 3 weeks ago. NDIS are refusing to support family & is currently before the court.
Since young person become ill mother has not been able to work & father has been only able to work casually at time, not currently working due to the seriousness of daughter's condition.
Young person is amazing, intelligent, resilient, engaging in her education where possible enrolled in a local high school with shared enrolment with department of education. Young person as aspirations to become a Doctor. Not all of her pharmaceutical needs are covered by hospital and it get really expensive.
