Domestic & Family Violence
We are requesting support for this family to help them engage in family experiences to support their ongoing wellbeing and connections. The family fled domestic and family violence at the beginning on 2024 and has been residing in a refuge since February 2024. Due to their experiences of domestic and family violence it has had significant mental health impacts on each family member while also causing ruptures in their relationships. The family are keen to engage in some outdoor activities that are of interest to all family members on a regular basis to allow them to improve their mental wellbeing and have positive moments of connection. This would have long term benefits for each individual family member and provide them a healthy coping strategy to manage their mental health.
