Helping community members in urgent need access essential support to meet basic needs and ease daily struggles.
GIVIT
Right now, many people in our community are struggling to afford basic human essentials. People who are already doing it tough are without means to buy food, put fuel in there cars (often which is also their home), and purchase essential life saving medications - not often part of the pbs scheme.
Having access to a simple food, pharmacy, or fuel voucher provides immediate relief in times of crises.
We provide lunch and breakfast 4 times per week, yet outside of these days many are left without support or the resources to support themselves. This is due to many differing reasons including complex mental health, homelessness, addiction, citizenship status just to name a few. Whatever the reason, our job is not to judge but help bridge the gap in whatever way we can.
Practical support will aid in easing daily stress and provide space and opportunity for people to focus on building a solid foundation to move forward.
