GIVIT
Client is a 32-year-old man who is currently homeless, staying in an abandoned house without water and electricity. This environment is not conducive to his mental health and declining as a result. Client has complex trauma and ongoing mental health challenges - stable and long-term housing is vital to his recovery. My role as a Recovery Facilitator is to support him with this, however with the housing crisis and lack of housing affordability, this presents as a barrier to achieving this goal. While I support client in obtaining stable housing, he is seeking urgent financial assistance in buying groceries/food and clothing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
