Grocery Voucher - $20

The client was living in a caravan with his partner which was inundated by the flood. The caravan was not insured after the 2021 flood. They also lost their car in the food. Unfortunately, due to the limited availability of emergency accommodation in the area they were not able to get assistance at the time. They are now in temporary accommodation for the time being but is it not permanent. They are struggling financially due to the cost of their rent. She was working part time but due to them loosing their car it has prevented her from working as much due to a lack of flexible transport. They cannot do their caravan up as they have no money to do so. They are trying to get assistance from other agencies but this is going to take time. Currently they are having difficulty surviving one week to the next to pay for food and their bills. They need assistance with food and clothing and ongoing essentials. They have applied for a grant but have not received anything to date.
