This young person has been experiencing homelessness for a significant period of their life. They have witnessed FDV between their parents and also have been the victim of FDV themselves. This has led to low mental health and some issues with substance use. However, in recent months this 17 year old has managed to obtain employment in a field they are interested in which has been a massive achievement. They have now also recently sourced stable housing which has started the process to safety, improved wellbeing and overall stabilization of their life.
