Vulnerable Forgotten Australian recovering from recent accident and experiencing financial hardship
GIVIT
This older adult has a long history of instable housing, trauma and additions that link back to experiences of growing up in institutional care. Recently this person fell over, resulting in a broken femur and months in hospital recovering. Finally discharged, they are in need of a microwave as they are no longer capable of preparing meals. Due to financial and mobility barriers, this adult would benefit immensely from this support. By having the option to heat up frozen meals will ensure they continue recovering and avoid becoming more frail and unwell.
