We are seeking financial assistance to support a single mother who has faced extraordinary hardship over the past few years. In 2022, she lost all of her belongings during the devastating floods and has since been working tirelessly as a cleaner to support her children. Despite enduring significant personal challenges—including separation from her partner and experiences of domestic violence—she has remained committed to rebuilding a safe and stable life for her family.
Following the closure of her previous village, she and her child were relocated to Brunswick Heads. Recently, she has found a sense of stability in Tweed Heads, where she hopes to establish a more permanent home. However, she requires financial support to cover the cost of a removalist to facilitate this transition. This assistance would help ease the burden of relocation and prevent further emotional and financial stress.
