Help women admitted to a Mental health inpatient meet their basic needs
Domestic & Family Violence
We have women who are admitted to the unit who are struggling with their mental health in the context of experiencing domestic violence, sexual trauma, childhood trauma, addiction and homelessness. Often we have women who are admitted that have lost contact with friends and family and have no access to clean clothing underwear and basic amenities.
At the hospital we have basic disposable underwear, but we would like to provide them with some basic cotton underwear and bras that are more comfortable and clean. Feeling comfortable in clean and comfortable underwear can go a long way to starting a person's mental health recovery
