Originally from New Zealand, she’s applied for Australian citizenship but isn’t yet eligible for full income or housing support. She currently receives a small special payment that barely covers essentials, leaving her struggling to secure stable housing or provide for her child. Unable to return to New Zealand due to custody restrictions, she’s doing everything she can to create a safe, stable life here in Australia. With Christmas approaching, she dreams of giving her child a sense of normalcy. Your support can help her find stability, safety, and a brighter future for them both.
