Victim Survivor of family violence has been experiencing financial abuse for years. This has significantly impacted her financial capacity, even though she works part time. She has a child with a disability and is not yet engaged in supports however is in the process of applying. The client is currently engaged in Family Court and the PUV's behaviours are leading her to require ongoing expensive legal support which is also impacting her financial capacity. Client has never engaged in welfare supports and has tried to manage on her own, however is struggling to find the finances to celebrate Christmas with her children. She would be incredibly grateful for grocery and Kmart vouchers to ease her financial stress a little.
