Our service is supporting a 35 year old Aboriginal woman who is a mother of three children aged between 10 – 15 who are currently in a family placement. She has experienced significant traumas throughout her life, including DFV and institutional abuse. She is currently re-establishing her emotional and physical safety and stabilizing her foundations. Our client is wanting to purchase gifts for her children this Christmas, to ensure they feel loved and connected to her. She is experiencing financial hardship and is unable to afford to buy presents.
