This elderly couple lost everything in the devastating 2022 Lismore flood.
They both have debilitating health issues and have used what remained of their superannuation to slowly rebuild their house over the past 3 years as they did not have insurance.
They have been living in a van for the past 3 years while slowly repairing the house
They have finally reached the point of being ready to move back in and after spending all of their money on their rebuild, they need some furniture to make it more homely.
