After enduring years of abuse, she is focused on creating a safe and stable environment for her children. At present, she is living in a rooming house that is unsuitable for her family, particularly her young child. She is on a limited income, receiving JobSeeker and Family Tax Benefit payments, which makes it extremely difficult to find suitable housing or afford essential household items. Fortunately, she has just received an offer of public housing and is preparing to move into her new home within the next week. This will be the first stable and secure home she will share with her daughter. She is seeking assistance to furnish her new home with basic necessities. Items urgently needed include a fridge, washing machine, microwave, bed, mattress, vacuum cleaner, and other essential household goods. Support during this transition would help so much.
