At just 20 years old, she spent most of her teens and early adulthood caring for her mother, taking on a carer’s role despite having six siblings. This responsibility came with unfair expectations and exposed her to significant physical and emotional family violence, leaving her emotionally drained. Eventually, she made the brave decision to leave home and enter crisis accommodation, choosing to prioritise her own wellbeing despite the guilt she carried. Now, she has been offered a permanent home - a chance to live independently and start her life anew. She is excited for this fresh chapter, but after leaving everything behind, she owns very little. Currently in crisis care, she needs essential household items to create a safe, comfortable space and build a future filled with stability and hope. Your support will help her turn this empty house into a true home and begin her journey toward independence
