A former defence contractor, living with PTSD and chronic health issues, is now facing homelessness. His only income is a disability pension — not even enough to cover rent. To survive, he took in housemates, hoping to ease the burden.
Instead, his life has become a nightmare.
Unapproved dogs were brought in, attacking his trained service dog — his only constant support. The subtenants have damaged the property, refuse to pay rent, and created an unsafe, volatile environment. He’s isolated, distressed, and afraid in his own home.
He urgently needs to relocate to protect his health and his service animal, but public housing is slow and his options are running out.
