A group of women over the age of 50, navigating the complex challenges of homelessness, trauma, family violence, mental health struggles, and social isolation, are currently residing in a transitional rooming house. While this shared accommodation offers temporary safety and shelter, the emotional weight of their experiences often leaves them feeling disconnected and vulnerable.
To nurture a sense of community, warmth, and belonging during the holiday season, food vouchers are being requested to support a Christmas gathering. This celebration will offer not only a festive meal, but also a rare opportunity for connection, joy, and healing among women who deserve to feel seen, valued, and supported.
