This mum and her five children have recently fled domestic and family violence and are working hard to rebuild their lives in safety. All five children have high and complex needs, and the family has experienced significant disruption, trauma, and loss. Safe outdoor play is extremely limited, yet physical activity is vital for the children’s regulation, sensory needs, and emotional wellbeing. A trampoline or outdoor activity would provide a safe outlet for energy, reduce stress, support healing from trauma, and create positive family moments at home. This support would make a meaningful difference as the family continues their recovery journey and works toward stability and hope for the future.
