A 54-year-old First Nations woman and her beloved dog are currently homeless and sleeping rough, facing severe financial hardship this Christmas. She is hoping for support to provide a small Christmas meal, essentials for herself, and a few items for her dog. Donations such as dog toys, women’s essential items, clothing, and food vouchers would bring much-needed comfort and relief. Despite the challenges of domestic violence, mental health struggles and financial stress, she continues to show strength and determination as she works toward a safer future.
