Our service is currently supporting a mother of two children—a 5-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl—who has recently been released from custody after serving an 18-month sentence. The mother was released one week ago and has since resumed full parental responsibility for her children, as well as caring for additional family.
The family needs help to transitions back into the community and work to re-establish stability for her family, she is experiencing significant financial hardship and has limited capacity to provide discretionary items.
Any support would help ensure the children experience a positive and meaningful Christmas while adjusting to recent changes and family reunification.
