Young Couple working fulltime have been forced to take on a mortgage in order to repair what insurance cannot
Flooding 2022
A young couple who are working full time and are currently still living in a shed on their property due to flooding back in 2022. They received insurance which didn't cover replacing possessions in their home and downpipes etc. Builders have repaired their home which unfortunately done defective repairs of which now has to be fixed again. Insurance will not cover this now so they have been forced to take on a mortgage to have their home repaired properly. They would be most appreciative for help with hardware vouchers to assist with doing the repairs on the parts that were not covered by insurance. This assistance will then free up income that can go towards replacing personal items in their home to get them closer to being able to move back into their home.
