Young person 15 years old enrolled in Tafe as mainstream schooling was not working for her.

Young person has been receiving support for the past 2 years, no stable accommodation, not engaging in school, mental health issues and self harm tendencies. It was decided by the education department that mainstream school was not working and provided a permeant exclusion. Young person decided to enroll in Tafe to do her cert II in building and construction. There is a fee each term for this course which she has no funds to pay them. She has engaged well so far and not being able to have the fees covered may result in her to again be excluded from education options.
