Recent heavy rainfall has significantly impacted Nambour, leaving many members of our homeless community displaced and without their belongings. Many visit our Centre daily seeking assistance, and there is an urgent need for tents and sleeping bags to help them find a dry and safe place to sleep.
We are also seeing an increase in people experiencing homelessness, while access to tents and similar resources through other services has become limited. With housing options scarce, we’re hoping to provide some immediate relief and comfort to those in need.
