This donation will go towards supporting women who have experienced extreme Physical, Sexual, Emotional and Financial abuse perpetrated by their intimate partners. They are facing financial difficulties due to the sacrifices they make for their families.
The women struggle on daily basis to access services like lawyers, court, rental properties and most importantly essential day-to-day items like Sanitary items, Moisturisers, nappies and other things for their children.
The women face trauma and depression and have had to stop working and stay in the Refuge to keep themselves and their children safe.
Some of them have been kicked out of their homes because they are not able to pay their rent and they end up sleeping in the streets. Other women have terminal illnesses and cannot afford medication.
These women face barriers due to their visa status
