Since 2022, this kind and resilient retired woman has been living without proper flooring due to a company’s dodgy workmanship. Despite doing everything right—lodging complaints, following up, and seeking help—she has been met with excuses and dead ends. As she continues to battle cancer and awaits a vital operation, she’s also the primary carer for her partner, who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. With no family or friends to lean on, the stress of their living situation and rising costs has become overwhelming. She has managed to find a little job, but it’s not nearly enough to cover mounting bills or repair the damage. To make matters worse, some of her furniture had to be stored outside due to the flooring issues and was badly damaged during the recent cyclone. This is a woman who has given so much in her life and now needs help to restore dignity, comfort, and safety to her home. Your support could help ease some of the enormous burden she is carrying alone.
