Client has recently separated from a violent and financially abusive relationship. Client has multiple health issues including lymphatic and heart and has had to reduce her hours of work in the past year substantially. Client has no income over the next few weeks while she applies for Centrelink and waits to return to work in 2026. As she is only on casual wages and now that School holidays have started, she will not have any work for the next 6 to 7 weeks. She is not even sure if she will be well enough to return. This is being a very stressful time as she has rental arrears and is in fear of termination. There is little money left in her account for food and expenses and with Christmas just around the corner she does not even know how she will get through this time. Any support for my client would be greatly considered at this time to help while she is waiting on her Centrelink income approval.
