38yo woman struggling with mental health, currently unemployed but trying to gain employment. She is indigenous to New Zealand and has been living in Australia for 26 years on her own. She is suffering with depression as she does not have any family or friends in Australia and her brother is a drug dealer in New Zealand. She has has been homeless for the past 6 years and had to give up her dog last week as it is making it more difficult to find accommodation. She is very connected to her dog and sees it as emotional support. She is currently living in her car and bouncing from shelter to shelter. Over the last week, she has stayed at a motel over the weekend, and had temporary accommodation at a local refuge. Currently, she is living in her car in Sydney, although she is working with a case worker to find permanent housing. She does not receive any benefits from Centrelink, and any support we can offer this woman would be greatly appreciated.
