53 year old woman has fled domestic violence and experienced homelessness for two and a half years. She is now living in social housing. She receives a Disability Support Pension from Centrelink and has a history of mental illness. Despite a past history of drug and alcohol use, she has maintained sobriety for six and a half years. She currently has no bed and is sleeping on the floor in cold conditions, which is affecting her health. She is actively working to rebuild her life and engages in voluntary work to stay connected and positive. Any assistance we can offer her would be greatly appreciated.
