Single mum, who is doing her best to support her and her 1-year-old son, have recently escaped domestic and family violence. Over the past four months, they’ve been moved through four different emergency and temporary accommodations, facing constant instability and uncertainty.
She has now finally secured a safe and stable home where she can begin to rebuild her life and provide her baby with the security he deserves. Part of this security is enrolling him in a daycare for the first time. This has been a difficult decision for mum to make as she has a very close bond with her son, but she wants to best for him and has found a centre that she really loves.
Due to still recovering from financial abuse, mum needs support to buy her baby the essentials he will need for daycare - such as backpack, water bottle, outfits etc.
