Our service works with an Aboriginal woman who is currently homeless and escaping domestic violence. She recently was released from custody and has had to live with her elderly father and then her son as she lost her home due to incarceration and her ex partner using violence during their relationship. She is currently working but has limited means to provide for herself, particularly over Christmas.
She would love to be able to provide for her families Christmas lunch. She has two older children and her elderly father has 6 children in his care. She would like to assist her father in Christmas celebrations.
