2025 North & Far North QLD Floods
Uninsured couple who have an adult child living with them has been severely impacted by flooding. Initially rain water went through the home due to backed up council drains. Flood waters then enter the home which has never happened in the 10 years they have lived there. Sewerage water inundated the home causing substantial damage to living area, bedroom, kitchen, laundry & bathroom. They were without power for 9 days. Black mould and human waste has damaged all household items.
