House Completely underwater in Mid North Coast Floods 2025
2025 NSW Mid North Coast & Hunter Floods
We are reaching out through GIVIT in the hope that you may be able to assist during what has become an incredibly difficult and distressing time in this client'slife.
Client's home was severely impacted by the May floods. The damage has been extensive — parts of the interior walls have had to be removed due to water damage. Client has lost over $50,000 worth of household furniture, whitegoods, tools, and personal belongings.
Despite the scale of the disaster, Client has found it incredibly difficult to access the support needed through existing services.
Just prior to the flood, Client had to work to care for my palliative father, who has since passed away. Client unemployed, not receiving any government benefits, and $300 left in savings. With council rates and electricity bills due soon, they are extremely worried about how to cover these.
The financial and emotional toll has been overwhelming. They are doing everything they can to rebuild, but they urgently need help.
