Woman has experienced physical, verbal and financial abuse from her ex-husband. He has also strangles her on one occasion. She is trying to build her life again with her 2 children. She has very limited English language skills which limits her access to main stream services.
She is on Refugee visa which has further made her feel vulnerable and restricts her access to financial benefits.
Due to extreme controlling behaviours from her ex-husband and hitting, slapping from him she has been left with a lot of trauma. He kept blaming her shaming her in the community making her isolated and she has left with no friends.
