37 yo woman has escaped domestic violence and currently has AVO against husband. She was pushed down stairs, and is a marital rape victim. She escaped the house with her 2 children, 5 and 7 years old, and is staying at a women's and children's refuge. She is currently unemployed as she is a full time carer of her children, the youngest not yet in preschool. She is receiving single parent family income only and has limited family support. She is working with a case worker who is assisting with housing and also plans to find employment in the future. She is undergoing counselling for mental health (depression). She is due to move into transitional housing in a few weeks and has no belongings. She would like to make her new home safe and comfortable for herself and her children so that they can continue with their healing. Any offers of support would be greatly appreciated.
