We are currently supporting a single mother who experienced homelessness due to domestic and family violence. she is now residing in a medium-term transitional property. She has been diagnosed with Manic Depression, ADHD, ASD and Dyslexia and has NDIS support to assist. Her son attends high school and has been diagnosed with ADHD and ASD and has NDIS support too. She is currently only receiving Centrelink benefits. During the marriage breakdown, her ex-partner gave her a lot of the family's belongings in many boxes which are filling up her garage, so she can't park the car in it. She has support from the NDIS to sort through the belongings however they don't have the funding for skip hire, which would assist her in getting rid of items no longer needed or wanted. Skip hire would assist her in decluttering and being able to use her garage again, which in turn will assist her move into long-term Housing.
