After 18 months facing homelessness, a 78-year-old man has finally secured housing but needs support to make it a home.

After spending the past year and a half at risk of homelessness, this 78-year-old gentleman has finally been offered secure housing. While this has brought stability after many months of uncertainty, the long period of moving between temporary options has left him with very little. Living alone, and with his only son overseas currently facing his own serious health challenges, he has no close family support to lean on. Financial hardship during this time has often left him without money for even the basics. He now has a safe place to live, but he needs help to create a sense of comfort, dignity, and belonging in his new home. Support will ease the isolation of an older man who has endured significant stress and loss, and it will give him the chance to enjoy the security and peace of mind he has been without for too long.
