This family have escaped horrendous DV and have spent most of the time healing since moving from a shelter to a short-term service. Mother would like to obtain work but is a way off yet as family emotional needs are still very high.
As a service we try and assist them as much as we can but one thing we cannot give them is the more expensive food items like meat because of their cultural beliefs they only eat Halal product including meat. Vouchers would be beneficial to obtain the food they need.
