This young First Nations mum-to-be is preparing to welcome her first baby and is doing her best to get ready for motherhood with very limited resources. She is facing financial hardship and does not yet have the essential items needed to safely and confidently care for her newborn. She is in need of an electric breast pump, steriliser, and bottle warmer to support her feeding journey and help provide a healthy start for her baby. These items will make it easier for her to express milk, keep feeding equipment clean, and ensure her baby is well cared for. As a very young mother taking her first steps into parenthood, community support will make a world of difference in helping her feel prepared, supported, and empowered as she begins this new chapter.
